The Snap Source, Inc. is an international corporation specializing in a large range of colorful long-prong snaps and snap attaching products that make snapping up sewing and craft projects easy.

Jeanine Twigg, the owner of The Snap Source, Inc. has been sewing for nearly 25 years. In 1991, while sewing for her children, she discovered that the snaps in sewing stores were not as durable as those on ready-to-wear children's clothing. She discovered the answer, designed and patented The SnapSetter®.

At the same time, Jeanine found the perfect snaps and in 1994 started sharing the secrets of successful snapping to sewing consumers around the world. In 1995, Jeanine and the SnapSetter® won an award for outstanding achievement in the creation, packaging, and marketing of products in the sewing industry.

With all her sewing and snapping experience, Jeanine authored It's a Snap! Secrets to Successful Snapping, a book that takes you on a journey into the world of snaps with lots of project ideas for all aspects of sewing. In 1994, Jeanine found using an embroidery machine to embellish kids clothes was a great creative outlet -- and lots of fun to match embroidery thread colors with snaps! Jeanine has since written more books --  the Embroidery Machine Essentials book series -- perfect for those that want to know more about using an embroidery machine.
